Review of Mercedes Benz Atlanta C-230

If you’ve dreamed about owning a Mercedes but never thought you’d have one in your price range, why not take a look at the Mercedes Benz C-230 at a nearby Mercedes Benz Atlanta dealership.  At around $30,000, this sports sedan is one of the cheapest in the Mercedes fleet, but the financial economy doesn’t show in how this car looks or drives!

The Mercedes Benz C-230 is a 2.5L, 6V vehicle with a lot of features that are fitted as standard.  Starting with the braking system, this car has four wheel ABS, electronic brake distribution and an immobilizer as part of it’s specification in this area.  Moving along to that all important external "look", the C-230 has, amongst other things, tinted glass in the cabin, heat reflective glass, front fog lights and daytime running lights - all of which add to the comfort and safety of the driver/passengers.  Plus it has a trunk spoiler, rear bumpers and chrome around the windows - making it a really stylish looking vehicle!

Inside the car there’s a good mix of safety, security and style with standard features as climate controlled air conditioning, cruise control, anti-theft device, driver/passenger air bags, and even heated windshield wipers!  There are also some features of additional value to parents with young children, in particular the power locks on the windows and the child seat anchorage could be extremely useful - not to mention the useful door trash bags for those messy moments! 

There’s a nice variety of optional extras with which to customize your car to your needs such as a split folding rear seat, DVD command navigation (great for anyone who travels a lot in unfamiliar areas), rear side airbags, and heated front seats.  There are also 3 packages available to maximize the lighting, sunroof and/or entertainment system in the car.  If you’re choosing this model because your budget is tight, you might have to forego some of the optional extras, but you’ll probably find some of them are definitely worth that little bit extra for either your comfort or safety.

There’s not much on the downside of this model other than it being a bit short on legroom and it only takes premium gas, but otherwise the Atlanta Mercedes Benz C-230 has a lot going for it, especially with the mileage at 26 miles to the gallon, and various power features fitted as standard. 

This isn’t really a family sized sedan, unless it’s a very young family, because of the legroom issue, but it is a perfect car for a single person who’s on the way up the professional ladder, or even a new married couple who is thinking of - or just started - a family.  The safety features in the car are perfect for small children, and the anchorage for a child seat is a particularly good idea which makes it a perfect car for anyone with a baby or toddler.

The price range of this car is what really sells it.  It may not be as flash as some models, and it certainly doesn’t have the power of most of the Mercedes fleet, but the Mercedes Benz Atlanta C-230 should be at, or near, the top of your test drive list!  It’s a lot of car, for a reasonable price, and the reputation of a great company behind it.
